it wouldn't be the first time this game had a Long brake between updates and correspondences from the Developer, so there is no real reason to expect ti to be a Dead project when looking back on previous trend from the developer...

it is more likely just taking time to come up whit all the variations of some of the scenes, Quote from there last post on TFGamesite:"The one that took me the longest however was one sex scene on the other paths, with 9 variations all with unique dialogue and images."unQuote.

so if they put that much effort into the different paths, then there is no wonder it is taking time.

If you look at one playthrough not that much really, you only have the beginning of a story. It basically ends just as the story really starts to get going. For multiple playthroughs the variety of content based on your character and choices is pretty impressive but that is probably what killed it just too many story-lines that need to be continued, to large a scope.
So overall it's a really good tease that leaves you with blue balls.

I don't think they gave up on making the game. The creator recently liked this comment. I just think they must be going through some difficult situation at the moment.

No house builds meaning places to live besides Mr. + Mrs. Winter, no more update about stores, it appears food is not required, and car dealer and phone somewhere in this game?

I note that one issue I had in game, you get numbers but can't do dates. No freedom to do anything except story, and When it's done you are not allowed to continue to find any other events. Or places to go, like find a job, Or explore the map.
I consider the tutorial is finished.
But the game needs have more allowance like if you played the guy character more customizations.
I played female character, the employer motions didn't lead ember institute but somewhere else options.
It feels....unfinished. I played it 2x. Female haven't played male character.

I like request in future update; memories for possible journal, so people could immerse in your story. The game feels empty when you don't have anything to picture it more. I have no idea why parents disowned player.
Most times parents died from illness, or fatal accident.

While you this one the most well spoken/typed/whatever request suggestion etc. I must tell you despite lacking the Abandoned Tag this is a dead game. GlitchDoll made a statement about the game getting killed by Patreon and not wanting to risk on subscribestar. Now IF someone wanted to do a FAN version or pick up this dead game I say go ahead.

I guess it might be difficult to sell a fetish porn game using borrowed real porn via patreon.

Isn't there a way to just have a patreon page where people who like what you do can donate without any product selling?
Maybe add some placebo product like some artwork ...
This game is available via f95zone and tfgames, so no need to give the patreon officials the link.

That is tempting, but I don't think that could ever happen. I am doomed with memory problems, too many fence post and barn doors smack downs make pc understanding not easy for me. More likely, I make work of art of game Ember gate's creator and author made turn into what zombie created. Someone better skilled might have better time...

I did notice it might take collab of 3 creators and authors permission and modder to make better vision?
With possible into other languages.
