There is gameplay and story, it's just not good.
Otherwise, the HFT vibe is definitely here.
Does someone understand how the climax minigame works?
The first pahse is simple enough, just click when the cursor is in the green, but the second?
I try to press 1,2,3,4 when the heart is in the eight place, but nothing happens.
What does energy and enthusiasm do? They dont' seem to move at all. It doesn't matter how long I go.
I was looking for the answer to your question. But when I read your question I came up with the answer myself:
Uncheck “STEAM achievements” on the start page /the first page/main menu

Click with mouse on numbers 1, 2, 3 or 4 when a heart is in a box. You have to time it right.
Or you can do it with keyboard, but you have to change keyboard layout to some different sort of QWERTY.
You change energy and enthusiasm by changing clothes.
Those 2 stats affect how fast the Boost button regenerates. (faster it goes, more often you can activate it and faster you will master positions and get XP for that)

Hmm, I wrote a review today, but I was only on mission 13 and the second email assignment.
Now, a few assignments later, the errors are piling up.
Sex scenes that cannot be activated, partners who don't even show up on set (but who I can still undress).
No purchase of further positions after you have purchased the second one.
I am now level 30, have a notoriety of 453 and 26 free experience points - and zero gaming experience.
Accept the mission, start it and then do something else for 5 minutes until the mission is over and you get paid. Repeat.

go to the blue square with your mouse, hold the mouse down and you can move furniture, you can rotate if you use the green circle with your mouse.

Too bad this game is so boring. Its premise is good and considering its somewhat working resources, it has a nice foundation for being a good game. What a waste.

Yeah, this game has good animations, decent character customization, and a plot that seems to have potential, but the actual gameplay is a bit lacking.
You pick clothes, and start the job, which starts with posing, after a few of those it's masturbation, and then a mix of straight and lesbian sex (lesbian has a different skill tree than straight). Solid so far.
So, at the job, you pick positions, and wait for the boost bar to fill, and press the button for a sexier animation. Once you get past pudding to masturbation, there's also an arousal meter with a cum button. Cum just leads to a dual mini game where you first stop the moving icon in the center of the bar, then a rhythm game. Sex gives a partner arousal meter and button, which gives the first half of the mini game.
Now, the weak points.
I had to ask what the energy and enthusiasm bars do here. They are affected by what your character wears, but are displayed only after you start the scene, not when you're selecting clothes. They do not move as the UI makers it look like they should. Your actions do not increase or decrease them in gameplay.
Progression gives notoriety, which allows you to take more jobs, experience to buy more positions, and money. Of these, only experience really feels like progression. There others have that same "stats for stats only" feel as the energy and enthusiasm bars.
You gain so much notoriety that it stops mattering after only a couple of scenes. As in by the time scenes that require 30 notoriety are unlocked, you have 300.
Money could be used for clothes, furniture, or a nicer apartment. Only clothes affect the scenes. Furniture and apartment are just for between scenes. You can either interact with your laptop to take a job and progress, or interact with the stuff you bought to... Not progress. Even clothing isn't mandatory after you're past posing.
If the developer ever revisits this project, there are a couple things I'd like to see, cause it's like they stopped digging just inches away from finding gold.
Nerf notoriety, hard.
Make more than just coming feel like a game. Perhaps make different poses actually use energy or something.
Provide more motivation to spend the money we make.

Energy and enthusiasm makes Boost regenerate faster. It will speed up your XP farming.
You somehow missed how notoriety works.
That "30 notoriety" (in a scene description) isnt requirement for that scene. It is how much notoriety you will get for performing that scene.
I have made an experiment, when I had around 580 notoriety. I bought notoriety boost and raised my notoriety above 600. It immediately unlocked new porno shoot. I think it unlocked MMF group sex scene, but maybe I remember it wrong. Maybe it was MFF group sex?
So notoriety works fine. You just dont know when you unlock new scenes.
I had the same problem. While in main menu untick the steam achievements on the bottom right and it will fix it self
