First, off, I want to say the game rocks! The concept is awesome, and even in this early state in development, gameplay is super addictive.
Suggestions:
Make it so you can adjust which capsule has which bot. Once I have enough money to not be in danger of going bankrupt, I usually keep the first AGp-Val I find and train her for mechanics and electronics. This means she may not necessarily be in the first slot, and when I sell the others, she is stuck in the second or third slot, which isn't really a problem in the grand scheme of things, but it it makes my ocd sad.
I'm not sure the current model system/art system makes sense. The descriptions imply you can adjust things like eye color, and it makes sense from a realism standpoint, since a lot of customizability would be a selling point in actual sexbot development. For the Val mentioned earlier, I basically replace all the stock components as soon as I have the means to, so even though she is still a D rated bot, she has the highest level cpu, eyes, vocoder, etc. that I can find. If I've replaced everything meaningful, why isn't she rated something higher than a D? I think the model/rating should maybe reflect the skeletal system/overall tech level possible? So you can't put higher level components in a lower level bot, at least without doing some heavy alterations? Maybe an idea for something MC can do later in the story is design his own bots from the ground up too? This kind of ties in with the art system. I understand the static pictures are a placeholder, but part of why I keep/maintain the Val, is I like the girl you picked for that model's picture, and since I can upgrade all the components, there isn't really an incentive for me to upgrade to a "better" model. Since the bots are so customizable they realistically aren't going to look the same once you start messing with them. I wonder if maybe the better option would be to do away with anything but generic depictions of the bots and replace them with text fields describing their physical features, that can be edited depending on MC skills/equipment. This would let you focus on the world building and writing side of things, while still allowing a large degree of customization for the bots. An idea on how this would work would be games like Free Cities or Strive for Power. Another possibility would be to make it so you can alter things like eye color, hair, skin etc on the model. A good example of this would be The Fixer, which is another renpy game. The downside is that is probably a lot of artwork, even for a very basic depiction of the bot.
How is the store running when MC isn't working? Maybe MC should get a rep penalty for every day he doesn't actually work in it, since would you take your bot to a shop that is almost never open? Maybe make working in the store cost less ap if you have a clerk and technie? As it stands, the real money comes from salvaging old bots and selling them to the club. The running a shop aspect seems like an afterthought tbh, and I don't bother with it once I sell the first bot to the club. I think it should be either redone so it is worth doing, or done away with entirely.
I've noticed that salvaged bots from the dump all have stable psycho cores. I think they should have a more random quality tending towards unstable, since these are bots that were clearly just run into the ground and discarded.
Again, these are all just suggestions, and you are ultimately the person who decides the game's future. I like what I see so far, and I'm looking forward to playing more!
